Think 5-a-side football with your hands, think water polo without the water, think fast and furious action-packed team sport with nonstop goals!
Quite simply, Mini Handball is an all-inclusive adaptation of a team game that promotes fair play, fun and physical literacy.
Mini Handball is here to offer grassroots training and competition opportunities to strengthen the foundations of handball in England.
Our number one rule is that children should love sports. All our sessions are guaranteed to be welcoming, safe and above all, FUN!
One of the many reasons we LOVE handball, is because it caters for all ages, gender and ability.
Handball gives children confidence and motivation and fosters a positive attitude to physical activity.
Mini Handball has a strong philosophy that is based on team spirit and fair play.
Whether your child enjoys the social side or has ambitions to play for their country, there is a pathway for them.
Our objective is to offer sport on your doorstep. By limiting costs and travel, we hope to engage more children in a lifelong love of sport.
"This was our first time tonight and both my children loved it. We had a really warm welcome and everyone was just having so much fun playing. They can’t wait for next week!"

My son finally has found a sport he loves and I throughly enjoy watching. Watching the game on Saturday especially when they scored right at last minute in one match was priceless. I use to play Roller Derby and throughly miss that comradeship but seeing him having this with his team is smashing. Well done... is there a Ferndown Falcons Womens? Asking for a friend

In 2022 I knew nothing about handball..and didn’t know it was even a sport. Two months into 2023 and after a term of after school handball on a Friday and two tournaments under their belt my two boys absolutely love this sport. As a mum I’ve encouraged my boys to try different sports…I’ve stood on the cold football sidelines…Sunday mornings at rugby and even sat watching a trial session at taekwondo to see nothing was really grabbing their fancy until I watched them play handball. It’s an absolute delight to see them play and to play together enjoying a game they love so much and what’s more they go home exhausted but buzzing to play again! The coaching team are fantastic and I would highly recommend to any parent to get in contact with the mini handball team 😊 try it and see!

Mini handball has been a revelation for my 2 children. They have found a sport they love, can play and learn together and show massive progression in a short time. This has overtaken football as their favourite sport to play and I am so pleased they have begun their handball journey! Thanks Mini Handball!

“What I love about this club is the emphasis on Fair Play and Team Work. Liz really promotes a sense of belonging for all the children and that shines through when you see them arrive on League days in their T-shirts!!”

“My advice is to just go and try it! Ben is a little shy about trying anything new, but we were made to feel so welcome by everyone that he’s been smiling about it ever since!!”
